We buy at the farm gate, and stay with it to the door
Emporex Mercantile buys spices and dry fruits direct at origin and supplies them to buyers worldwide, under one accountable firm.
Where the firm comes from
For several years the business behind Emporex operated purely as an importer, bringing dry fruits and spices into India from Afghanistan, Indonesia, Vietnam and the United States. That work was run hands-on — negotiating at origin, arranging inspection, clearing consignments and placing them with domestic buyers.
Emporex Mercantile is the next step. The sourcing relationships and the operational knowledge carry over, but the mandate is wider: under this firm we run import and export together, adding Indian-origin spices, cashews and raisins for buyers abroad.
It is a young firm with an experienced desk behind it. That is a fair way to describe us, and we would rather say it plainly than dress it up.

How we work
We buy at source
We deal directly with growers and farmer co-operatives at each origin — and, where a crop has to be hulled or graded first, with the processors who work alongside them. Fewer hands between the farm and the container means better grades and fewer surprises.
Specification is the contract
Grade, moisture, count, foreign matter — agreed in writing before the order, verified before shipment. What is quoted is what ships.
One point of contact
You deal with the same person from enquiry to delivery. No ticket queues, no handing your consignment between departments.
Both directions
Because we import and export under one firm, we understand both sides of the paperwork — and can often match a buyer with an origin we already work in.
